    Skyfeather is a character based on the book series “Wariror Cats” by Erin Hunter. She was born a clan cat, but her Clan’s name is never mentioned. Her kithood was pretty quiet, although she always harbored a dislike of absolute authority. Despite that Skykit was very careful to follow the rules. Unlike most kits, she never left the nursery or camp before being told to do so. Her unnatural blue fur was never seen as obscene because she grew up in a clan with many candy colored cats. She often forgets that it is a foreign sight to some cats. Her apprenticeship was filled with encouragement from older warriors and fellow apprentices, but it was also dotted with bouts of self-pity and doubt when she saw other apprentices excel beyond her. Skypaw had a natural tendency to not notice small details and space out. Because of this her hunting was never first rate, but she was still able to catch almost as much as any other cat. Her fighting skills are also at or below average. When in the heat of battle she often over estimates her own size and power and picks fights she can’t win. Because of both of these negative traits it took Skypaw a few extra moons to earn her warrior name. She finally proved herself when a bird of prey attacked her camp. Skypaw had jumped on its back to try and kill it, but it flew up high and barrel rolled her off. Skypaw survived her fall and had the bird’s feathers still clenched in her teeth. Her clan honored her willingness to sacrifice with the name Skyfeather. As a warrior, Skyfeather realized she didn’t believe in Star Clan. She dismisses the idea mostly as a tool to scare kits and apprentices into behaving and to comfort cats about death. She also showed no interest in becoming a queen. Skyfeather spends her days as a warrior now trying to make lasting friendships. She has a bad habit of making friends outside of her clan though. She sees nothing wrong with that. She will fiercely defend her opinions but prefers not be involved in fights. Skyfeather was born with two littermates but never found much comfort in the bonds of family. She prefers the reliance of relationships that were forged instead of born. She becomes very close to, who she would consider her brother, Ion during her apprecnticeship though and makes lifelong friends with Darkcharge and Dizzypelt, both warriors from different clans. Skyfeather, despite not wanting kits accepts some of the responsibility for her friend Darkcharge’s kit, Umbrella and watched over a kittypet kit named Charlie until his death.
